Dr. Colpan participated in the Summer School on Artificial Intelligence & Energy, held in Konya on August 23–29, 2026, with the participation of academics and experts working in the fields of energy, sustainability, and artificial intelligence.
During the program, Dr. Colpan delivered three lectures entitled “Energy Storage Systems and Applications,” “Sustainable Transportation Systems,” and “Energy Analysis, Modeling and Simulation Packages.” The presentations addressed current developments in energy storage technologies, sustainable transport solutions, and computational tools widely used for the analysis and modeling of energy systems.
Dr. Colpan also took part in the panel “AI and Its Ethical Use in Energy Applications,” which focused on the opportunities and challenges associated with the increasing use of artificial intelligence in energy-related research and applications.
