Seminar – Metin Yaras

Prof. Metin Yaras (head of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of Carleton University) visited the Mechanical Engineering Department of Dokuz Eylul University and gave a seminar on the research activities of his department on October 27, 2015. Several MSc and PhD students as well as some faculty members of the department attended this seminar. Research collaboration opportunities between these two department through the recently signed Mevlana agreement has been discussed. As a result of this agreement, graduate student exchange will initiate in the Fall term of 2016-2017 academic year. Mr. Ozan Osafoglu (Mevlana coordinator of the University) also attended this seminar and answered some of the questions of the students about the Mevlana program.
